A 230-gram transit-time clamp-on flow meter covering DN10 to DN2000, with a signal oscilloscope and an integral wall thickness gauge. Big-brand portables start above $10,000. This is $3,999.
SKU SZ00ICLUPL24 · FROM $3,999
You want serious capability without a five-figure line item — or you are equipping a whole team.
The Ultra ProLite weighs 230 grams including the battery. That is a phone with a thick case. Not a briefcase, not a shoulder bag, not a cart.
Weight is not a vanity spec in this business. The reason flow surveys get skipped is that the instrument lives in a locked cabinet and getting it out is a whole exercise. An instrument light enough to live in a technician's bag is an instrument that actually gets used on the pipe he happened to be standing next to. And at $3,999 — against big-brand portables that start above $10,000 — you can put one in the hands of several technicians rather than rationing one across a department.
METRI publishes two numbers, and the honesty is the point:
Most vendors publish the first and let you discover the second yourself. The gap is entirely installation: straight run, pipe wall condition, and the accuracy of the dimensions you typed in. Repeatability is 0.15%, which is what actually matters for trending and for comparing one reading against another on the same pipe.
The ProLite shows you the raw received waveform. Most instruments in this price class give you a signal-strength bar; the ProLite gives you the trace. When a reading misbehaves, the waveform tells you why — a weak direct signal, a reflection off a liner, or acoustic noise from a nearby valve. This is a diagnostic tool that normally appears three price tiers up.
The meter computes volumetric flow from velocity and cross-sectional area, and it takes the area from the pipe dimensions you enter. Enter a wall thickness from a spec table when the pipe has thirty years of corrosion and scale on it, and every reading is systematically wrong — precisely, confidently, repeatably wrong.
With the optional probe the ProLite measures the wall it is actually sitting on. It is the highest-leverage sixty seconds in the whole procedure.

Frequency must match pipe size — low frequency penetrates further, high frequency resolves better on small bores. Specify pipe size when ordering.
Specifications transcribed from the manufacturer datasheet and subject to change. Confirm against the controlling document before specifying — Seztec will send it to you on request.
This instrument is specified into the following industries. Each page covers the specific measurement problems, the fluids involved, and what usually goes wrong.
Send us pipe size, pipe material, wall thickness, lining, fluid, and how much straight run you have. A Seztec application engineer will confirm the fit — or tell you it is the wrong instrument, which happens and which we would rather say before you buy.
